There are now a few new media icons in the sidebar for audio and photos along with a new “Experimental Calvinist” page above.
Trying to hone this site down to make it more usable for you, the reader.
Carry on.

WordPress has now made available some nifty little social media links to their arsenal. You will now see various links below each post to assist you in reaching others with posts you may find beneficial here.
With many thanks to Pastor Murray Brett, I now have high quality scans of the only known image of Octavius Winslow.
I have decided to create a page completely dedicated to this photograph because of it’s historic value.
On this page, you will also read the interesting story of how Pastor Brett obtained this ultra rare image!
The Biography Page has been bolstered quite a bit if anyone is interested.
Also, as a bit of an aside. I am now tagging all of the posts here. I should have been doing this since the beginning, but laziness won out I guess.
By tagging each post, the archive will be more accessible and search able to more refined inquiries. You will notice the tag cloud on the right just under the category cloud. So far I only have a few posts tagged.
Hope it helps.
Well, that’s not entirely accurate.
If you would like to make a Morning and Evening Thoughts shortcut on your iphone like the one picture above, open your Safari browser and head on over here. Next, hit the “+” button at the bottom of your screen and select “Add to Homescreen”.
That will give you a nifty little shortcut with a picture of Winslow’s mug on it!
Awesome!
Here’s a wordle of this blog.

I’ve gone ahead and made a new e-book page. As I collect more digital formats, I will place them here. As of right now, all I have are pdf’s.
With many thanks to Tanner Turely, I have finally bolstered up the bibliography page immensely!
Tanner has kindly agreed to allow me to use his own bibliography which he compiled for his Winslow Homiletics paper for use here to allow the public to get a better feel for what lies within Winslow’s works.
It was a huge undertaking on my end to convert his pdf to text and then to strip out the coding that doesn’t play well with WordPress to allow a nice, flowing format that is easy to read and understandable. There are still a few hyperlinks I need to establish and source texts to track down, but for now this is a huge improvement.
It is my hope that this page will help wet your appetite to dive into Winslow’s writings all the more!
Well, JM Vergara has outdone himself yet again. I had asked him if he would be so kind as to produce a blog and website widget that I might offer here to help spread the word about OctaviusWinslow.org and here’s what he came up with:
As you can see, it matches the wonderful header he developed for me and is a nice compliment to it.
If you run a blog or website and would like to help spread the word, below you can find the codes to do so. If you would like to see it in action, check it out on my personal blog.
Again, much appreciation to JM Vergara and to those who will use this widget to further this little effort.
