A New Winslow Image Has Been Discovered

I am so excited to announce that a new etching of Winslow has been discovered!

It is currently in a collection of original documents and papers of nonconformist literature in England that are in the family possession of a reader of this blog.

He requested that he only be referred to as Peter and that no fuss or attention be drawn to him.

I want to publicly thank Peter for agreeing to make this important historical document available to us!

New Blog Badge

I’ve whipped up another blog badge for anyone who might be interested in using it on their own website or personal blog to help promote The Octavius Winslow Archive.

To obtain the badge in various sizes, just click here and select the size that would work best for your needs.

As always, I thank everyone one of you who has helped spread the word about this site and have directed others here! You are truly an encouragement to me!

Winslow Desktop Image

I have no idea who else might be interested except someone like me, but here’s a snapshot of my desktop featuring the mug of a certain Mr. Winslow.

If you would like the image for your own use, and I honestly cannot imagine why you would, it can be found in this photo set.

And if you’re really geeky, the flip clock can be found here and the Mac-like icon stack at the bottom can be found here.

Original Editions At Princeton Theological Seminary

Yesterday I had the oppurtunity to visit the Special Collections department of the Princeton Theological Seminary library. On hand they have several original editions of Winslow’s work, along with a tract I have never seen before. They permitted me to take a bunch of photos to add to my little en devour here.

I did not have the ability to scan that tract, however, I did take photos of it. You can read “The Door Openhere.

Also, on the inside of one of those editions, I found a list of several other tracts that have (as far as I can tell) been previously unknown. You can see the photo of that page here.
