Have you ever tried adding collagen when making homemade nut butter? It will transform any nut butter into smooth, creamy and satisfying treat! And it's not just delicious, it's really good for you! Collagen is a gut-healthy source of protein that will help keep hunger and cravings away.
We're using toasted coconut butter and macadamia nuts, which have one of the healthiest fat profile, plus Perfect Keto Collagen (use this affiliate link to get 15% off) which is my favorite. I used their unflavored collagen powder in mine but you can add flavor by using vanilla or cinnamon collagen. If you can't get Perfect Keto (it may not be easy to ship to your country), simply use any grass-fed collagen powder.
Once you make this nut butter, you can use it in smoothies (try in my Keto Peanut Butter Chocolate Protein Smoothie instead of peanut butter), drizzle over Keto Pancakes, or use to make healthy treats such as these Keto Coconut Chocolate Cups instead of the Toasted Coconut Butter.

Instructions
- For this recipe you'll need coconut butter (also known as coconut manna). If there's any coconut oil separated from the coconut meat, place it in a saucepan and let it melt over a medium heat.
- Add the coconut butter and break using a spatula. Cook until it's lightly toasted, stirring occasionally, for 5 to 8 minutes. Take off the heat and set aside.
- Place in a food processor together with macadamia nuts and vanilla bean powder (or vanilla extract).
- Add the collagen powder. You can either use unflavored, cinnamon or vanilla Perfect Keto Collagen (use this affiliate link to get 15% off), or simply use any grass-fed collagen powder.
- Process until smooth and creamy, for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Pour in a storage jar.
- Store at room temperature for up to 3 days, in the fridge for 1 month, or freeze for up to 3 months.
