The original Brazilian Batida is made with coconut milk, condensed milk, cachaca, sugar and optionally fruit juice.
To make this cocktail low-carb, I used homemade keto condensed milk and skipped the sweetener. If you don't have cachaca, you can replace it with white rum - like I did - or vodka. If you are looking for more ideas, make sure you check out my low-carb cocktails!
Is Alcohol Keto?
Avoid drinking alcohol if you want to lose weight. Even if there is no sugar, your body can't store alcohol as fat - it has to metabolise it. This means that your body will utilise alcohol instead of body fat which will slow down weight loss. You can learn more about alcohol and keto in these posts: The Benefits and Risks of Alcohol Consumption and Complete Guide to Alcohol for Low-Carb Diets.
