This Mojito is a great addition to my keto cocktails. Make sure you use powdered - not granulated - Erythritol or use any of the sugar substitutes I listed in the ingredients below. I gave these mojitos a summer twist by adding fresh raspberries and blackberries - blueberries will work too.
Is Alcohol Keto?
Avoid drinking alcohol if you want to lose weight. Even if there is no sugar, your body can't store alcohol as fat - it has to metabolise it. This means that your body will utilise alcohol instead of body fat which will slow down weight loss.

Ingredients (makes 2 servings)
- 1/2 cup raspberries and/or blackberries (70 g/ 2.5 oz)
- 1/2 cup loosely packed mint
- 4 tbsp fresh lime juice (60 ml/ 2 fl oz)
- 2-4 tbsp powdered Erythritol or Swerve or 10-20 drops liquid stevia (SweetLeaf or NuNaturals) or 1-2 tbsp Sukrin Clear Syrup
- 1/2 cup white rum (120 ml/ 4 fl oz)
- ice cubes
- 1 cup sparkling water (club soda) or as needed to top up (240 ml/ 8 fl oz)
