My low-carb take on a popular American classic today guys — Chili Cheese Fries made with turnip instead of potato and topped with my Super Simple Keto Chili by following this recipe. Instead of turnips you can also try radishes, rutabaga (swede) or celeriac.

This popular keto dinner recipe uses low-carb veggie fries baked in the oven for a healthier fry. If you have an air fryer you can totally make these fries in that if you prefer and they’ll be nice and crispy. Oven baked turnip fries will always be on the soft side.

One for sharing… or if you’re like me, keeping all for yourself… they’re that good! Perfect game night or moving snuggling up with food. A healthy gluten-free comfort classic you’ll want to make time and time again.

How Many Carbs Should I Eat on Keto?

The amount of carbohydrates eaten on a ketogenic diet will vary for individuals. Typically, most people aim for no more than 25 g net carbs.

This meal is relatively high in carbohydrates so keep that in mind when deciding on the serving size. If this meal is too high in carbs for you, either stretch it to 5 servings instead of 4, or use radishes instead of turnips to reduce the carb count.

If your daily net carb limit is 25 to 30 grams, this keto dinner recipe is for you! And if you add a bit more protein and fat (ground beef, some extra virgin olive oil to drizzle on top and/or cheese), you can serve this as a TMAD meal (two-meals-a-day). Enjoy!
